icon01/21/2012 - Please Help Coach AJ!

To Whom It May Concern,

I am fundraising for my 27 year old staff member, Amy Jones who is a coach at my gym, East Celebrity Elite. Amy is diagnosed with stage 4 rectal cancer which has metastasized to her lungs. She has undergone a few surgeries, radiation and chemotherapy. At this time it is understood that these methods are not going to save Amy’s life since the cancer has again advanced.

Amy is relied on by the hundreds of kids that she touches each day. Recently at work Amy told me, “I forget I’m even sick when I am with my kids.” This is the love that she has for her job and her kids. Those that know Amy, know she still has so much more to give with her friendly, outgoing and positive personality.

Amy again has hope! Amy has just been accepted into a clinical trial which has been proven very effective and is her only hope. She will have to travel to Houston, Texas on February 1, 2012 to start receiving the treatment. I am doing my very best, as well as her family, to set up fundraisers and other alternative routes of raising funds. This clinical trial has a hefty price and we will need more than just a few fundraisers.

Our goal is to quickly raise the money needed for her treatment and save Amy’s life! Any contribution is greatly appreciated. There is no amount that is too small since every little bit will help as we help Amy to fight. Amy’s motto has always been that it is very easy to say “I Love you” but it is very different to say I Love You AND Mean It.” The “LYMI Fund” was created from this motto because we truly do love Amy and we mean it!

Thank you in advance for your support!
